The most dangerous snake is the one that you don’t see. The snake that you don’t see is the one that bites you. We fall into sin when we do not realize that we are being tempted. The most dangerous temptations are the ones we don’t even see coming.

It is a delight to play on the baby grand at the front of the church. My piano teacher sits on the front pew and attentively listens with her head cocked slightly to one side. My marathon training has taught me that the most important part of reaching any goal is taking it one step at a time. We just need to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Even if your mobility is limited, we can all take small but significant metaphorical steps to improving our own health. Remember- it’s not about winning. It’s how you run the race!
